This winter, Omaha’s Kiewit Luminarium invites locals and visitors alike to experience GLOW, an annual art exhibition designed to brighten the darkest months of the year with a unique blend of light, science, and joy. Program Coordinator Alajia McKizia shares insights into the new exhibits and interactive experiences that await guests.
GLOW transforms the space at Kiewit Luminarium through innovative exhibits and installations each winter. This year, the exhibition incorporates various STEM principles into the art pieces, allowing guests to engage with scientific concepts in an immersive, artistic environment. One of the standout features outside the Luminarium is “Polymer,” an intriguing sculpture by artist Taylor Dean Harrison, visible even before entering the venue.
