Im glad to be here: Mayor Paul Young represents Bluff City at the DNC [Video]

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – As the Democratic National Convention wraps up Thursday night, Memphis’ very own Mayor Paul Young was in attendance taking it all in.

The mayor was asked how he thought the DNC went this year and was not at a loss for words.

“It’s been incredible,” said Mayor Young. “I think the energy has been the biggest highlight. There’s so much excitement around this historic election, and so many people are excited about what’s to come. And so I’m glad to be here, representing the City of Memphis.”

With the conclusion of the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, the presidential tickets are set.

Next stop: The Presidential Debate.

Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris will meet on stage at 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 10.
