Over the course of the three tracks, the artist dives headfirst into hyperpop territory, leveraging autotune heavily throughout. “WHOLESOME” is upbeat and glitchy, while “EVIL” sees De Souza open up into vulnerable, angrier territory. She finishes things off with “FANTASY,” the most careening, playfully unhinged track of the bunch.

“These songs come from the spiciest, most goofy, glitter gloss place in my psyche,” she revealed in a statement. “I wasn’t really thinking very hard when I wrote them. My baseline existence can be pretty heavy and complicated, but these songs made me deeply joyous the whole time I was working on them.”
