Its different, Franklin County students react to new cell phone policy [Video]

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – With the new cell phone policy, students spoke up about how they feel about it in Franklin County.

Jamarius Lomax, Madison Ingram, and Jonah Bowman are all Franklin County High School students. They also serve on the advisory team that helps bridge the gap between students and faculty, the three agree when it comes to cell phones: the new policy released by the Virginia Department of Education, works.

“I kinda like it,” said Madison Ingram, a senior at Franklin County High School, “I know a lot of students they are a little bit worried about it cause we’re so used to having our phones last year and the years before, and it’s new, but I’ve seen nothing but positive things from the change.”
