LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — JCPS Flash Dads surprised students as they arrived to school after being off for Election Day.
Dads from across Louisville visited Lincoln Elementary on East Main Street near downtown Louisville on Wednesday. Dads greeted the students as they walked into school to get them excited for the day.

“This is a great opportunity for our male parents and community members to come in and greet the children,” principal Melissa Case said. “The students get real excited, it catches them off guard. It adds extra smiles to their day.”
Flash Dads is a Diversity, Equity and Poverty program created several years ago with efforts to bring in positive male role models. The group has grown over the years.
