Pont-de-Vaux, Ohio – For Christophe, a lifelong fan of French pop icon Jeanne Mas, the passion began with a music video. It was 1987, and the 14-year-old was captivated by Mas’s “Sauvez-moi” video, which featured the singer channeling both Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop.
“I loved that little film,” christophe recalls. “It was my first crush.”
That initial spark ignited a collecting frenzy that has spanned nearly four decades. Today, Christophe’s collection boasts hundreds of items dedicated to Mas, a testament to his unwavering devotion.
His collection is a treasure trove of musical memorabilia. It includes all 25 of Mas’s albums, in various formats – from classic vinyl records and colorful picture discs to CDs, cassettes, and even VHS tapes of her music videos and concerts.
Beyond the music, christophe has amassed a collection of autographed items, concert tickets, posters, T-shirts, and even caps, each piece holding a special memory.
