Ex-Jets quarterback Zach Wilson appears to be making strides with his new team and has made an impression on the coaching staff.
According to The Athletic’s Chase Daniels, Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton is all in on the Jets bust.
“He’s got him playing with more confidence and energy than he ever has,” Daniels wrote in a Threads post, accompanied by video of Payton doting on Wilson.
“I grabbed him and I said ‘Look, I just want you to focus on having fun and playing,” Payton said. “My job is to make you millions either with us or for another team. His last two weeks have been outstanding.”
