The SIGA Entity Portal, a web-based platform designed for data collection and analysis of the operations of Specified Entities (SEs) in the country has been officially launched.
This will be run by the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA).
During the launch at the SIGA head office in Accra on Monday, SIGA’s Director-General, John Boadu, highlighted that the platform would transform governance within public entities and promote adherence to good corporate governance practices.
Boadu emphasized that the new platform would enable the Authority to gather real-time data from the entities it oversees, helping guide them towards greater profitability and improved performance.
“Staff here must not be walking to entities just to collect reports in this mordern times,” he said.
Boadu explained that, the SIGA Entity Portal has been designed to streamline operations by automating processes, centralising reports and financial data, and delivering real-time insights.
