Pop icon Katy Perry — whose sixth studio album 143 has officially dropped — joined Audacy earlier this month to give fans a preview, as well as a little background on the making of her latest offering.

The title for Perry‘s newest release, 143 — text code for “I love you” — was chosen by the singer “because that’s my angel number,” she tells Bru, going on to explain that the contents were born out of working with thoughts of appreciation, fulfillment, happiness, and the need to spread more light and love into the world.
