Monarch Expresses Gratitude to Medical Staff Amid Personal Health Challenges
In an unprecedented move, King Charles III delivered his annual Christmas message from a hospital chapel this year. The 76-year-old monarch, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, used the occasion to express his heartfelt gratitude to medical professionals while reflecting on a year marked by personal health challenges for himself and his family.
“I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the selfless doctors and nurses who have supported me and my family through the uncertainties and anxieties of illness,” Charles said in the pre-recorded message,released on Christmas Day. “They have given us the strength, care, and comfort we have needed.”
