KENTWOOD, Mich. — Calling all West Michigan LEGO fans! The time is nearly here.
The first LEGO store in West Michigan will open inside Woodland Mall in Kentwood on Aug. 16.
The next closest locations are in Chicago or Detroit.
The LEGO Group said there will be immersive experiences offered at the grand opening, including a mystery mural LEGO brick-building activity and displays from the Western Michigan LEGO Users Group.
“The LEGO Store at Woodland Mall will deliver unforgettable immersive experiences with the widest range of LEGO products, hands-on play opportunities for our visitors, exclusive promotions and fun events held in store,” said Travis Blue, vice president of Americas and EMEA Brand Retail Stores, the LEGO Group.
