LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) – Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen, Attorney General Mike Hilgers, and state senators are set to introduce new legislation Monday.

The trio of bills is set to “protect kids” from technology such as social media, smartphones, and artificial intelligence in child sexual abuse material, according to a Monday release from the governor’s office.

The bills will then be presented in the fourth day of the 109th Nebraska Legislative Session, which starts at 1 p.m. Monday.
