Newsweek has mapped out the safest and most dangerous states for those using online dating services, based on data from Privacy Journal. The review site used factors such as romance scams, identity theft, encounters with registered sex offenders, the prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and violent crime to rank all 50 states.
