MARIAH Carey has responded to a rampant fan theory that her new Spotify video message is fake.

The All I Want For Christmas Is You crooner, 55, has been accused of using AI for her Spotify Wrapped ‘thank you’ message.

“Hey, it’s Mariah,” she can be heard saying while sitting by a fire in her classic Santa-themed onesie.

She added, “Thank you so much for listening to my music on Spotify. Your support through the years is the greatest gift I could ask for.
