Mark Zuckerberg’s ‘time machine’ to the future unveiled: Meta’s first pair of augmented reality glasses use holograms to overlay digital content on to the real world – but you’ll have to wait a while to get your hands on them [Video]

Mark Zuckerberg has revealed his ‘time machine’ to the future, in the form of Meta‘s first pair of augmented reality (AR) glasses.

Meta – the parent company to Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp – showed off its first working prototype of AR glasses, called Orion, during its annual Connect conference.

‘For now, I think the right way to look at Orion is as a time machine. These glasses exist, they are awesome and they are a glimpse of a future that I think is going to be pretty exciting,’ the Meta Chief Executive said.
