That’s not my usual method for discovering new drinks, but sure.
I usually stumble over some good cocktails when I visit bars, especially when business is slow, and the bartender is amiable in sharing some recipes and techniques.
Then there is browsing online for ideas. One of the online sites I recently used is BarGPT.
I was looking for a bourbon cocktail that uses black walnut bitters and this drink called Autumn Embrace popped up.
On paper it sounded promising but how many times have you seen a cocktail recipe that looks like it will taste good, only to be disappointed in that first sip?
