MLK community celebration set for Monday at Restoration Church [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday with Sioux City’s Restoration church Monday.

On Monday, Jan. 20, starting at 7 p.m. the community will be able to enjoy a celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. at the Restoration Church, located at 4310 Old Lakeport Road.

Guests will have the chance to listen to live choir music performed by the MLK Gospel Choir and listen to words from Martin Luther King Jr.‘s “I Have a Dream” speech. Community members will also listen to a speech by Dr. Terry Murrell of Western Iowa Tech Community College.
