There was a period of time when interactive series and films were all the rage on Netflix, where users could influence the story with their choices like a classic choose-your-own-adventure game. That time has passed and now the streaming giant plans to rid itself of almost all of its interactive specials in December.
Out of the 24 interactive titles Netflix has released over the years, it confirmed to The Verge that only four will remain as of 1st December 2024.
These are Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, arguably the most popular of these specials that introduced the audience to the interactive series concept, as well as Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend, Ranveer vs. Wild with Bear Grylls, and You vs. Wild.
