Exploring in your Mercedes is about to get a little easier as the company has announced a partnership with Google Cloud, which will pave the way for new conversational capabilities with the MBUX Virtual Assistant. This promises to make navigation easier, while drivers will also be able to learn more about nearby points of interest.
As part of this effort, vehicles will use Google Cloud’s new Automotive AI Agent, which is based on Google Gemini. The search giant said it will deliver “personalized, conversational engagement for navigation, search, media, communication, and other vehicle controls” as well as natural language understanding and ” multimodal reasoning.”
