The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released a surprise new video – but people have hit out at the couple’s poppies.
Prince Harry and Meghan shared the clip via their Archwell Foundation website to speak about the inaugural United Nations Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Bogota, Colombia.
The duo are wearing poppy pins for the video as a symbol of Remembrance of fallen soldiers. However, furious X users have taken to the social media platform to share how they believe they are “frauds”.
One X user posted in reply to the video: “Harry doesn’t get the first amendment & thinks it’s bonkers. Yet here they are both wearing poppies. A symbol of remembrance for our brave soldiers who gave their all fighting for our freedom.
“Total hypocritical frauds. You couldn’t make it up.”
A second angered person commented “what hypocritical clowns” with another saying “she has no right wearing a poppy”.
