Rapid City man sentenced after unclassified AI child pornography is found [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Justin Lohse, 38, of Rapid City was sentenced to five years probation for possession and manufacturing of child pornography Thursday. Lohse previously pleaded guilty to this charge in September of this year.

In court, it was said Lohse’s Google search was flagged by law enforcement when they discovered unclassified child pornography in which he cropped a minor’s face onto another person’s body, using AI.

On top of the five years probation, Judge Matthew Brown ordered Lohse to serve an additional 188 days in jail, with three of those days suspended.
