Sony will launch its $700 PS5 Pro console later this year, but if that’s a little too rich for your blood, it looks like refurbished regular PS5s will be available soon at a more attractive price. A new “Certified Refurbished” section has been added to the PlayStation Direct site, with pricing starting at $350 for a PS5 Digital Edition and $400 for a PS5 with a disc drive.
According to the page (via PushSquare), the PS5 consoles are “as good as new” and each one has been extensively cleaned. Refurbished consoles are typically PS5s that have been returned for a refund for a variety of reasons, thus turning them into pre-owned consoles.
