ASUS has announced that the ROG Phone 9 Series is set for a global launch on November 19, 2024. The devices will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, positioned to be top-tier gaming smartphones.
Recently unveiled, the Snapdragon 8 Elite features Qualcomm’s new Oryon CPU cores. This consists of two prime cores clocking up to 4.32GHz and six performance cores running up to 3.53GHz.
In tandem with the new Adreno GPU, it’s slated to provide users with an exceptional 40% increase in performance. Plus, it will also leverage AI through its new Hexagon NPU to make for a better mobile gaming experience.
The series is expected to keep design elements such as the AniMe Vision LED lighting on the back panel. We’re also going to get the gaming triggers again, just like the ROG Phone 8 did earlier this year.
We’ll keep readers updated once we have official details on device specs. We’re a month away from the launch …
