While difficult to accurately measure levels of organized retail theft in the United States due to variations in data collection criteria, the National Retail Federation says retailers are struggling in the face of continuing store thefts. Some cities are being harder hit than others.
With New York City seeing a 5% increase in retail theft compared to last year.
