It’s time once more for CIG to show off its monthly progress for Star Citizen, and as followers of the alpha game might expect, a lot of what was done last month was focused on alpha 3.24, though there are some of the usual forward-looking tidbits as well.
The vast majority of the update was focused on enemy AI behaviors, with continued work to improve threat response speeds, clean up movement pathing, add bespoke behaviors unique to Pyro NPCs, and enhance the UI for one of the devs’ AI scripting tools.
The core gameplay section also had a lot to share, with some highlights including more specific resource behavior for spaceships that will eventually replace current their current “soft death,” polishing the screen for engineering gameplay, and improving the room selection UI for life support functions.
