State warning issued about school threats [Video]

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division sent out a warning on Tuesday after dozens of school threat investigations so far this month. In a release, SLED officials said they are aware of more than 60 threats targeting schools throughout 23 South Carolina counties since September 4. SLED Director of Public Information Renée Wunderlich said 21 juveniles have been charged in connection to these school threats.”These threats are extremely serious and will be treated as such,” Wunderlich said. “Upon discovery of the threats, law enforcement officials worked diligently to secure schools and find those responsible. That work continues.
