As the volume of data grows and the threat landscape evolves, organizations must invest in storage systems that keep their data secure, accessible and future-proof. Subsequently, data resilience and adaptability have become necessary for storage solutions, especially given today’s AI-driven world.
“How do you make sure that everybody’s getting necessary performance associated with that storage?” asked Drew Schulke (pictured, right), vice president of product management at Dell Technologies Inc. “I’d say there’s another angle here in the age of AI that we need to be just very transparent about the thinking on evolution of the threat landscape. One that’s already pretty severe where you have ransomware attacks every 11 seconds and more than 80% of businesses have been impacted by some sort of security attack over the past 12 months.”
