This Whitney Houston Hit Is the Number 1 Song Played at Weddings [Video]

When it comes to songs that make people want to break out and dance at a wedding— it’s no surprise that Whitney Houston is queen of the dance floor!

The “Greatest Love of All” singer holds the most popular wedding song with her hit “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” according to a new study conducted by Breezit, an online search tool that allows brides and grooms to find vendors for weddings.

The company analyzed 2,000 wedding-themed playlists and nearly 50,000 songs on Spotify to identify the top tracks played at weddings, according to Brides. During its investigation, it found that the 1987 hit song was included in about 24% of wedding-related playlists, appearing 484 times. 

However, Houston isn’t the only performer who was popular, as Abba’s classic song “Dancing Queen” was right behind it, appearing in approximately 20% of wedding playlists, appearing 397 times.
