PORTLAND, Maine — The buzz—and concern—over artificial intelligence keeps growing by the week, and there is understandably a great deal of unease among parents over how it will reshape education.

Should students have access to AI in their studies? And what tools will help them learn rather than just regurgitating answers from a software program?
