Tom Cruise is sprinting back onto the big screen as super spy Ethan Hunt.
The first trailer for the eighth Mission: Impossible film, titled The Final Reckoning, shows glimpses of Cruise’s heroic IMF agent as he revisits the conflict that began in 2022’s Dead Reckoning Part One and continues to fight against the sentient artificial intelligence “the Entity.”
“Our lives are the sum of our choices,” Cruise, 62, wrote on Instagram as he debuted the trailer. “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. See you at the movies May 23, 2025.”
Also returning for the next Mission: Impossible movie are Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff and Henry Czerny, all of whom appeared in the seventh film.
