UConns football coach doesnt listen to expansion rumors [Video]

STORRS, CT (WFSB) – UConn football coach Jim Mora said he is too busy to follow all of the reports about college football expansion and any role the school might have in them.

There is a new report this week that the PAC 12, which is trying to reorganize after several teams left, is interested in bringing the Huskies in.

The conference has seven teams currently, and wants an 8th.

“I don’t pay any attention to what’s going on out there,” Mora said. “I mean I see some headlines every once in a while, but I don’t. No, I grew up a Pac 12 guy. I’ve got enough right here. I don’t spend a lot of time on that. If I were to spend time on conference realignment, I wouldn’t have time to think about anything else, because it’s all over the news, and who knows what’s going on.”
