Update: Wind advisory issued for part of Pennsylvania for Friday [Video]

The National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory at 3:36 p.m. on Thursday valid for Friday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.

The weather service adds, “Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with occasional gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” describes the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
