BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – Three Warren County Public Schools students have been selected as STLP (Student Technology Leadership Program) Engineer/Ambassadors, a prestigious statewide honor recognizing their achievements in technology.
Surya Rasuli, Marlaina Weiss, and Grayson Cox were chosen from thousands of applicants to participate in the program. As ambassadors, they will help coordinate a technology conference at Rupp Arena in Lexington, which thousands of people will attend.
“My favorite part about this program is that I will get to experience it,” Rasuli said. “I will get to expand my knowledge and experience and it’s really cool to be an ambassador.”
Weiss said the program has helped her identify her passion for technology and provided her with the resources to excel in leadership, coordination, and facilitating larger projects.
