Michael Strahan is usually the source of humor during Good Morning America every day, but the co-anchor was truly shaken by a discussion about the use of artificial intelligence.
On the morning broadcast of the show on Wednesday, October 2, the 52-year-old co-anchor introduced a news segment about Microsoft‘s new AI called “Copilot.” In the report, ABC News correspondent Trevor Ault informed the hosts and viewers about the upgrades that the AI companion was getting. Some of the features include simple solutions for everyday tasks, like thinking of gift ideas and planning a party.
In the segment, Ault, 32, reported that developers said the AI tool will eventually be able to “manage your schedule” and “act on your behalf.” He added that they’re also working on something called “Think Deeper,” which will “allow AI to weigh in on major life decisions.”
