Starting words such as “crate” or “slate,” allow players to “maximize their initial information.”

Then, you need to start looking for patterns in words and also common letter combinations and word structures in English such as “TH,” “CH” and “ST.”

You should also keep an eye on letter frequency because some letters appear more often in English words than others like, E, A, R, I, O, T, N and S. But definitely use more vowels in your early guesses because they can “reveal vowel placements” and help narrow down the correct answer.
