York County Coroner Pam Gay announced that she will retire at the end of her current term in 2026.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — York County Coroner Pam Gay announced that she will be retiring at the end of her current term in January 2026.

Gay is in her third term as York County’s coroner and will have served York’s community for 12 years when she retires.

Gay started her position in 2014 where she has modernized York County’s Coroner’s Office throughout the years, including the heights of the COVID-19 pandemic opioid pandemic.
